Yggdrasil Secures Partnership Deals in Italy
One of the most exciting casino developers and suppliers today – Yggdrasil Gaming – has made giants steps towards gaining its footing in Italy.
It was at the beginning of 2017 when this provider of superior online and mobile casino games first announced its intention to certify its products in compliance with the Italian legal regulations, and Yggdrasil has now made concrete steps towards making its presence known in this European country.
Yggdrasil signs Bwin, Gioco Digitale
The company has announced that a deal has been struck with GVC Holdings to have Yggdrasil video slots integrated directly into the Italian-facing gaming brands – Bwin and Gioco Digitale.
GVC owns Bwin.it and Gioco Digitale which will serve the Italian customers with the initial batch of 11 Yggdrasil titles, whereas it was announced that new releases will be added over the coming period.
The current offer will include titles such as Dark Joker Rizes, Vikings Go Wild and Nirvana.
In the meantime, Yggdrasil has recently unveiled its brand-new slot game Alchymedes, which we wrote about earlier on this link.
Games Plus Tools
As part of this partnership agreement, both GVC websites will have access to Yggdrasil’s BOOST tool, which offers a range of different promotional assets, in addition to a social-sharing tool called BRAG.
GVC hierarchy is pleased to see Yggdrasil take the Italian market by storm and sees the newly-announced cooperation as a great step for the company to remain at the industry’s forefront with Yggdrasil’s first-rate content.
Additionally, Yggdrasil chief executive Frederik Elmqvist shared the GVC’s excitement over the partnership.
“We have grown our footprint across Europe this past year and this is the latest in a long line of big deals, and shows the progress we are making and just how desirable our games and in-game promotional tools have become,” Fredrik Elmqvist announced.
