Yggdrasil Prepares Central Rome Exhibition for Italian Launch
Online game provider Yggdrasil Gaming has officially set foot on the Italian market through Gioco Digitale integration which was launched at the beginning of the week.
The Italian market is the second-largest regulated in Europe and Yggdrasil Gaming decided to expand into Italy and beat some of its opposition to this high-potential gaming landscape.
The total of 11 slot games from Yggdrasil’s vast portfolio have been certified under the Italian regulations and published on Gioco Digitale. Some of the most exciting titles currently available include Vikings Go Wild, Nirvana and Dark Joker Rizes.
In order to celebrate their Italian launch – which is expected to be followed by Bwin.it unveiling over the next couple of weeks – Yggdrasil Gaming has prepared a Rome exhibition scheduled for 25 May.
Yggdrasil chose a venue in central Rome to showcase their flagship slot game Vikings Go Berzerk, which is described as a highly conceptual slot game and which will be officially introduced to the Italian market later this year.

Operators are invited to join the exhibition near the Piazza della Republica and the company’s CEO Frederic Elmqvist is hoping that the show will be well visited and enjoyed. In addition to the Vikings Go Berzerk, Yggdrasil Gaming have prepared plenty of surprise for the visitors.
“We will also show what we have to offer in terms of our range of in-game promotional tools that will be make a difference in the market when changes in legislation will be implemented.”, Elmqvist was quoted telling Tottally Gaming.
Elmqvist is convinced that new games and the new set of promotional tools that follow will allow Yggdrasil to further vitalize the Italian market and help it grow significantly.
