Yggdrasil Gaming Launches the First Title from Its YGS Masters programme
The renowned developer has proudly announced it has launched the first title from the ambitious YGS Masters programme.
Here’s What You Can Expect
This fresh release has been developed by Yggdrasil Gaming’s partners at Northern Lights, while the game itself draws its inspiration from the 1930s and brings a new take on the classic fruit format, loved by many punters around the world.
Titled Niagara Falls, the game has a five-reel three-row layout, with the reels populated with all the symbols found in classic-themed slots, such as bells, fruits, sevens and bars, with a minimum of three matching symbols needed to start getting payouts.
The new game also includes a unique coin drop bonus, which will definitely bring additional excitement to the overall gaming experience. Players will, from time to time, see a gold coin on the last reel at the end of a spin. This coin will then drop down from the reels, leaving a trail as it lands on a bonus slot underneath. If it lands in the right slot – boom – the bonus will be triggered!
The coin trail symbols can be replaced with Wilds or additional spins, while players can even earn a shake bonus, stacked spins and multiplier bonus. There are so many ways to grab rewarding prizes, all you’ll need is a bit of luck.
Yggdrasil Gaming’s latest addition to its portfolio also includes an exciting extra spins bonus. To trigger it, simply land three bonus barrel icons on reels 1, 3, and 5, which will award 5 extra spins! While the bonus round is active, there’s also a possibility of turning an entire reel wild. Once a reel is turned Wilds, it will stay like that until the round comes to an end.
Players are sure to benefit from the Cash Fall Bonus round, which can be activated on each and every spin. Coins will fall down on the reels, finding their place in slots positioned under the reels. This will activate a meter, while a super coin appearing on the grid will increase the slot value. Shake bonuses are collected during the gameplay and can be used at the end of the bonus.
More to Come Soon
Commenting on this launch, Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partnerships at Yggdrasil Gaming, said his company was delighted to release its first YGS Masters programme game made by Northern Lights.
He added that with its unique theme, combined with an instantly recognizable name and global landmark, Niagara Falls was sure to make waves with slots players all over the world.
McCarthy pointed out that this release marked the start of a very exciting roadmap for YGS Masters products, and stated Yggdrasil Gaming couldn’t be happier to be working with Northern Lights and its five other partner studios, with many more to come.
The YGS Masters was created as a semi-open, invitation-only platform, intended to offer differentiation and market-specific content. The latest studio to have joined YGS Masters a couple of weeks ago was Dreamtech Gaming.
Only last month, Yggdrasil’s Joker Millions paid out a record-breaking sum to a Betsson player.
