Yggdrasil Announces Important Market Expansion And Reveals New Logo
More news from Yggdrasil Gaming, who revealed its latest plans, but also made an important change when it comes to its corporate identity.
First of all the leading provider of online and mobile casino games, Yggdrasil Gaming has announced the company has extended the agreement with its existing partner GVC.
Entering A New European Market
Under the provisions of this new deal, the Maltese gaming company will make its debut in the competitive Spanish market.
Yggdrasil’s portfolio of games will be offered to Spanish players through the GVC-owned bwin brand, while the first games are set to be launched during the second quarter of the year. The Spanish market is becoming more and more appealing to operators around the world, who want a piece of the country’s market that has been steadily growing since 2015.
Commenting on the latest expansion, Yggdrasil Gaming Chief Executive Officer Fredrik Elmqvist said that Span had quickly emerged as one of Europe’s fastest-growing and exciting jurisdictions, making it a perfect environment for Yggdrasil’s award-winning slots and promotional tools.
The debut on the Spanish market follows Yggdrasil’s recent entry into Denmark and Italy.
A True Leader
Andrew Whitworth, Head of Content at GVC said the company wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to be the first operator to bring Yggdrasil’s slots to Spain and added he was confident they would perform strongly in the market.
