Have you tried PokerStars Discord Chat Yet?
Amaya-owned online poker cardroom and arguably the biggest playing venue on the globe – PokerStars – have earlier this year decided to introduce Discord chat in an effort to add a discussion option to its players.
Discord is an all-in-one voice and text chat for gamers which currently services over 25 million people. Safe and secure, it works on both desktop and mobile platforms. Discord facilitates in-game communication as it allows gamers to join in a free service which has become quite a hit over the past period.
It’s been around a month since this app has been first announced at PokerStars and seeing it’s alive now, has anyone tried it yet?
In addition to being a place to communicate with fellow gamers, discuss poker, PokerStars events and any other subject for that matter, Discuss at PokerStars is a place where you can contact company’s employees for any queries.
PokerStars has also introduced a series of AMA (Ask me Anything) sessions where Pokerstars users will be given an opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with poker experts Team Pros, poker luminaries and anybody else considered of value in PokerStars subject matter.
Discord AMA Sessions
The first-ever session was held on 3 May when the Team Pro Online member Jamie Staples hosted the first PokerStars Discord AMA gathering.
With VP of Corporate Communications for Amaya Inc. and PokerStars, Eric Hollreiser, as the hosts, PokerStars Discord AMA promise to be a huge hit.
Getting into the PokerStars Discord is as simple as one, two, three.
Players who already have their Discord IDs will simply add the PokerStars server to their list. Those who don’t have the ID will have Discord invite them to create one and then populate it with the PokerStars server.
PokerStars Discord is a place where players will get information directly from inside the company, whereas PokerStars gets valuable customer feedback which helps them grow as a business.
