Split Hold’em Debuts At PokerStars
The largest online poker site in the world, owned by the Canadian gaming company the Stars Group, PokerStars, has announced a real threat for its customers.
Meet Split Hold’em, which arrives as an interesting twist to the classic Texas Hold’em game, which went live on March 28.
A Brand-New Cash Game Format
The new game, which will be available for a limited period of time only, splits the community cards into two individual boards, which are dealt at the same time. This means there are two flops, two turns and two rivers.
Since the new format offers a multitude of options an outcomes, players will have to reconsider the classic strategies.
When it comes to the playing experience, Split Hold’em brings twice the funt, whilst doubling the action. And players camn look forward to more opportunities to make a hand. The winner of each of the boards will get half the pot, while the whole pot can be won in two ways: by holding the best hand for each of the boars, or if the rest of the players fold.
Finding The Best Strategy
In addition to this, PokerStars will debut its Seat Me system on the global liquidity player pool. In practice, this means players can choose the preferred stake to play at a Split Hold’em table, and simply wait to get their table and seat, without having to choose them manually.
Those players without a set will be put on a waiting list.
