The Slotsfather vs The Slotfather Part II: Special Features Compared
Some people tend to believe that a sequel can never match and rival the popularity of the original title, but unlike in the movie industry, slot sequels tend to be much-improved versions of the initial concept and idea.
And with Betsoft announcing their brand-new Slotfather Part II online slot, we take a look at the differences in the Special Features department and ask you to make a call on which part is the better.
The original gangster version of the Slotfather game came with five reels, three rows, up to thirty paylines and a variety of special features with a progressive jackpot like the cherry on top.
The difference in graphics is the most prominent one, but the original title did have some col features like Sneeky Instant Win in example that we loved. The gangster symbol called Sneeky next to the briefcase filled with cash on reels one, two or three would initiate a mini-game in which the same gangster would reach out to grab cash from the case, giving you an instant win.
Multiplier Mob Free Spins are also an incredible addition to this game. Old Gangster next to the machine gun on reels one, two and three would grab the gun and fire it into the reels and it would be up to you to select a bullet hole and determine the number of free spins you would get.
Ultimately, there is the Slotfather Bonus Round which is triggered by landing three or more Slotfather bonus symbols on any payline. You will then be asked to select three of the six locations to place slot machines on and each location will have a prize associated with you.
The best thing of it all is that the Slotfather himself will hand you over a breafcase filled with cash.
The Slotfather II
Visually improved, the Slotfather II comes with many different features.
Gangster truck symbols will trigger 8, 12 or 20 free spins with all wins getting doubled during this feature and a Big Boos Bonus feature waiting for you at the end with a random instant cash prize.
Gangster Bonus is a feature which is activated by full three reels of gangsters. Two will get you a respin, but three different gangsters will bring three different prizes with low-value prizes. medium and high-value ones.
The game also features a Gamble Button which will offer you a chance to double up any win in the base game by a selection of guesses on the hidden card.
Sadly enough, the second instalment does not come with a progressive jackpot, so perhaps that claim from the beginning of the article might actually be true with this particular slot game.
