Shawn Dennis Appointed New Scientific Games Chief Marketing Officer

The Las Vegas-based provider of gambling products and services Scientific Games has appointed new Chief Marketing Officer.

The company’s new CMO is Shawn Dennis, who will bring a vast 25-year experience of entertainment, consumer products, and sports marketing industries.

Important Role

Her new role will be to boost Scientific Games’ global growth, as well as to expand the company’s market positions in the interactive, lottery and gaming segments.

Commenting Dennis’s appointment to this responsible position, Kevin Sheehan, Scientific Games Chief Executive Officer, and President said the American company was excited to welcome her to its experienced team of highly-skilled executives.

Sheehan added she was ideally suited to lead the company’s marketing efforts to enhance consumer engagement, revenue growth and help propel the firm forward. He stated he was sure Dennis would become an invaluable member of the team, and that her tremendous experience leading marketing for high profile companies and brands in the entertainment and technology sector would prove essential in Scientific Games’ future business endeavours.

Impressive Work History

Before joining Scientific Games, Dennis held the position of Global Head of Brand and Franchise Development at DreamWorks Animation, California-based animation studio, a subsidiary of Universal Studios.

During her time DreamWorks, Dennis was responsible improving the studio’s industry position. Her responsibilities included enhancing product licensing and boosting customer engagement.

She also worked for Mattel’s American Girl Company, served as Chief Marketing Officer for the National Football League, and spent some time at Dell Computers, where she was in charge of global B2B marketing, brand management, and marketing communications.
