Scientific Games’ SG Digital has announced it has appointed new Senior Vice President.

Taking up this responsible position is Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, who’ll be tasked with implementing the company’s strategy across digital gaming, sports, and online lottery.

The Latest Addition To Its Skilled Team

Sandyford-Sykes has a vast experience when it comes to slot product development and content strategy, having previously held a number of executive positions.

According to SG Digital, Sandyford-Sykes will be responsible for the division’s nine game studios and will join the team on May 1.

Recently created division of Scientific Games, SG Digital incorporates OpenBet, Open Platform System, Open Gaming System, former SG Interactive’s Game Server, nine game studios and SG Universe Platform.

Commenting on the latest move, Matt Davey, Chief Executive at SG Digital said the company had formed an extremely powerful team of technology and product leaders who were moving quickly with a dual focus.

Strengthening The Market Positions

He added SG Digital had improved its development and product capabilities to better support its UK and EU customer base and had also established new capabilities in North America to meet the growing demand for its gaming products and to be prepared for sportsbook expansion, should the U.S. become a newly regulated market.

SG Digital has already welcomed former Ladbrokes’ Chief Product Officer and Sportsbook Director Keith O’Loughlin to its team, together with Dylan Slaney and Chris Armes. All three of them, along with Sandyford-Sykes, will report to Jason Walbridge, SG Digital’s Chief Operating Officer.

In addition to this, SG Digital has announced that Sue Dawson, Scientific Games’ current Legal Director for the UK, has been appointed as Deputy General Counsel for SG Digital.

Davey stated the goal of SG Digital’s executive team would be to deliver on its customer-driven, product-led strategy with clear focus at speed.
