Pragmatic Play Lands Double-License Deal
It’s been a rather good week for Pragmatic Play who secured a double-license deal that will allow this international gaming powerhouse to offer its services both in Spain and Portugal.
Pragmatic Play has been certified to open operations in both of these regulated markets after the Spanish Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ) and Portuguese Gambling Inspection (SRIJ) gave their nods to the operator.
Spain and Portugal
After securing a Denmark breach through a deal with operator Vera-John earlier in August, Pragmatic Play is now making another step forward by expanding its global reach. Pragmatic Play adds Spain and Portugal to its ever-growing list of countries which now include the UK market secured in April, Bahamas in May together with their already existing licenses in Malta, Italy and Romania.
Elsewhere, Pragmatic Play has also updated the market about its content partnership deal with GAMEIOM which is understood to be another important milestone for the company.
Head of business development at Pragmatic Play, Yossi Barzely, said the company was proud to receive green light both in Spain and Portugal as Pragmatic Play moves one step forward to realizing its aim of expanding worldwide.
“We’re certain that our existing suite of games and forthcoming titles will prove to be just as popular with players in both countries as they have been elsewhere.”, he said.
