Poker Battle Between Kevin Hart and Usain Bolt Scheduled For January
The Stars Group #GameOn marketing campaign is entering its next phase where we’ll see the epic poker showdown between an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer Kevin Hart and the Jamaican sporting legend Usain Bolt.
Hart, Bolt, and Team PokerStars member Daniel Negreanu will take on a series of #GameOn challenges, designed to test their poker skills and qualities, including emotional control and bluffing.
Battle of the Bahamas
The first two challenges have already been launched, while the culmination of this duel will be in January, where Bolt and Hart will face each other in a heads-up battle at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), which will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in The Bahamas from January 6–14 with buy-ins going up to $100,000.
Commenting on the upcoming poker clash, Kevin Hart said that he was looking forward to seeing what would happen when Usain was taken away from the track. Hart added he was confident he would be the one celebrating in the sun in January.
May the Best Man Win!
On the other hand, Usain is confident he will be triumphant at the end of the match. The reigning Olympic champion in three events said that although Kevin was the funniest, his jokes were not going to get him anywhere at the poker table.
Bolt stated he knew how to keep his cool under pressure, and added he expected a thrilling duel.
Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications of The Stars Group said #GameOn was another example of the company’s global marketing commitment to continue growing the game of poker and highlighting the fun and social nature of the game.
Hollreiser stated it was great to see how the smarts of a poker battle between these two greats would play out while reaching out to both new and old players.
