One of world’s largest online gaming software developer and supplier – Playtech – continues to make waves in the industry as the company expands its footprint across the platforms and across the borders.

Veikkaus and win2day come together

Renowned for its cross-platform management system which allows operators to maximize cross-selling opportunities with different tools and service pack, Playtech now sits in the middle of a cross-border partnership between Veikkaus and win2day.

The Finnish operator – Veikkaus – and Austria’s giants – win2day – have teamed up to launch the industry’s first cross-border poker network which will be powered by Playtech.

A range of Playtech’s omni-channel poker products will be offered through the iPoker network which will use liquidity from the player bases found in both companies, who team up in what is the first time that two regulated individuals have come together in such manner.

The liquidity-sharing agreement and cooperation between Veikkaus and win2day has been approved by the Finnish Ministry of Interior and the Austrian Ministry of Finance.

Playtech’s Poker Vision

In the middle of this newly-formed partnership lies Playtech’s established relationship with both operators. The newly-announced cross-border deal would not have been possible without Playterch investing in its poker division significantly over the past period.

“This is a milestone in poker and the gaming industry, and we’re delighted to be at the heart of yet another industry-first providing two great brands with the leading poker network and a series of leading products that I’m confident will prove a huge success going forward.”, Playtech COO Shimon Akad said.

In effort to enhance the poker offering, Playtech has recently completed a full overhaul of playing tables, while the operator has also launched a series of new games and game views which allow players to easily access their favorite games through a personal touch.
