Playtech Launches BetTracker App
Having acquired Best Gaming Technology (BGT) last summer, one of world’s leading casino software supplier Playtech has made another step toward affirming its position in the sports betting sector.
The July 2016 acquisition of BGT which cost $152.6 million is now followed by the launch of Playtech’s new product called BetTracker, which is basically the mobile phone application used to allow customers to transfer their in-shop made bets onto their mobile devices.
Track Your Bets with BetTracker
In a move that is bound to give Playtech a great edge in terms of becoming the premium sport-betting software and solutions supplier, the customers will be given an opportunity to have their best monitored through the sporting events and to cash them out within the same system and through BGT terminal which can be found all over the UK and Ireland.
Playtech BGT Sports’ UK, Ireland and Australia managing director, John Petit, did not hide his excitement over the launch of this revolutionary product, which will bring a massive boost to company’s retail sector.
“It will also improve the user experience and increase operator revenues”, John Petit said.
Unlike the regular sportsbook applications, BetTracker allows customers to keep their anonymity intact as this particular facility allows does not require any personal information whatsoever.
Security-Cautious Users Need Not Worry
“We appreciate that some shop customers prefer anonymity and don’t want online accounts. Others like the sociability their local bookie offers. This solution caters for both, bringing the technology that is now routine online into retail estates for the first time”, Petit added.
Playtech BGT Sports is confident this innovative feature will drive the retail space further forward and help transform the betting experience for betting shop customers.
Playtech’s BetTracker is available both on Apple and Android devices.
