Playtech is expect to cover the entire lot of 3,000 electronic gaming machines with its Neon Slot system, whereas the Neon Tables iPad application will also cover 650 tables at Grosvenor under the new agreement.
Rank Casino will also migrate all of its 54 casinos to the new system which is scheduled to be completed later this year.
Playtech’s Neon casino management system allows Grosvenor casinos to manage player tracking data, guest relations and cash desk operation, whereas the Neon Analytics business intelligence platform brings a suite of customised dashboards intended to offer the head office and management teams a better insight into the specific aspects of their work.
Martin Sykes, managing director of Playtech subsidiary IGS, which developed the neon system, was proud to see the company complete such a major task in a short period of time and moved on to revealed that new features are intended to keep all data in step at all 54 sites.
“We developed new features, optimised Neon for deployment in the Cloud, provided numerous integrations and supported the transition from the legacy systems”, Sykes said.
Grosvenor Casinos director of finance, Richard Payle, explained that Playtech’s Neon systems have been an instant success which met the high standards of the company’s business and technical goals.
“Migrating our gaming systems to Playtech will enable us to complete our modernisation, offer an improved player experience and complete our vision for a single account and wallet across our retail and digital businesses”, he said.
