Playtech Expands Its Market Presence after Partnering with GVC
The list of these brands includes such renowned names as bwin, SportingBet, PartyPoker, PartyCasino, FoxyBingo, Foxy Casino and Crystalbet.
Offering Its Games to More Players
Under the provisions of the deal with GVC, signed earlier this year, Playtech has increased its market presence to the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Georgia. In addition to this, the UK bwin and Sportingbet will offer their customers the exclusive tab, further extending the company’s offering across GVC Group’s brands.
Thanks to this deal, GVC’s customers will be able to enjoy the extensive offering of Playtech content, offering an unparalleled gaming experience. All Playtech’s products and services are powered by the developer’s in-house developed IMS platform, which means they will be seamlessly integrated with the operator’s own technology. Customers across GVC-owned brands will gain access to more than 600 slots, including a number of branded games and progressive jackpots. All in all, plenty of reasons for their customers to be satisfied.
In addition to aforementioned markets, Playtech’s and GVC’s partnership will see the company’s casino games reach players in Belgium and Greece as well, as GVC is present in these two countries through its Sportingbet and Vistabet brands.
The partnership between the two sides is set to expand in the coming period, as we can expect new launches in other regulated markets in 2019, and into 2020. These moves will definitely cement Playtech’s position as the global leading technology provider in regulated and regulating markets. Its innovative omni-channel products combined with its data-driven commercial, compliance and safer gambling services are sure to become popular with players in all these markets.
And There’s More…
But Playtech doesn’t stop there. In addition to the recent launch of the new Bowling Frenzy slot, the company has also partnered with one of the leading names in the Brazilian market, Betboo. The goal is to increase its market footprint in Central and South America, where the company is already present.
Commenting on the latest move, Shimon Akad, Chief Commercial Officer at Playtech said the programme of key launches represented the first stage of what they believed would be a significant, long-term partnership with GVC, whose desire to bring Playtech’s products and services to all of its customers across its portfolio of leading brands underlined Playtech’s position as the preeminent technology partner in regulated and fast-growing markets.
He pointed out they had a longstanding partnership with GVC and added they were pleased to see it grow. Akad also said the deal was a real testament to the hard work of all their teams, especially the innovation of both content and services.
Shay Segev, Co-COO at GVC, added the operator’s strategic partnership with Playtech went from strength to strength, driving growth in both of their businesses. He stated Playtech’s content had already proved hugely popular with their customers where it was already live and pointed out they were looking forward to rolling it out in further markets over the coming months.
