Playtech Completes Integration of Featurespace Fraud Detection Tools

The Isle of Man-based supplier of online gaming and sports betting software Playtech has announced the company has successfully completed the integration of Featurespace tools into its Information Management System (IMS) platform.

Playtech signed the partnership deal with the British side last year, while the agreement was aimed at further enhancing Playtech’s player management platform. By integrating machine learning fraud detection tools into its platform, Playtech will offer its licensees an unprecedented level of security, since they will be able to instantly identify and reduce fraud.

But Featurespace deal is only a part of the company’s strategy, which includes several other third-party agreements. Signed back in February 2017, Captain Up’s gamification engine is one of them.

How Does The Tool Work?

Featurespace’s adaptive, real-time, individual change platform (ARIC) assess the risk by evaluating and monitoring player’s behaviour, which enables it to instantly identify fraudulent attacks.

Once the installation is complete, certain player events trigger the alert and send detailed information to ARIC platform. The list of events includes deposits, withdrawal, and changes to personal information.

Before the real-time investigation starts, Playtech licensees will need to send historical data to Featurespace. This way, the evaluation conducted by ARIC will be more effective.

Promoting Safe Play

The latest move further demonstrates Playtech’s commitment to offering only the very best gaming products to its clients.

Playtech Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad said the company was committed to promoting safe play and empowering licensees and players with advanced customer engagement and protection. He added he was delighted the Featurespace partnership and integration would enable Playtech to further increase the quality and effectiveness of its offering.

Martina King, Chief Executive Officer at Featurespace stated the strategic partnership with Playtech would enable the company to deliver enhanced protection to its customers through its real-time, machine learning technology.
