Playtech Announces the Launch of Three Live Casino Games
It looks like the company has ambitious goals, as it has just launched 3 live casino games. One of these releases is a reworked edition of the Hi-Lo game, while the other two are completely new live Roulette games.
Expanding the Portfolio
The newly-launched live Roulette games are based on American Roulette – or a very popular double-zero version of that game, to be precise. As its name suggests, one of these versions is based on spread-bet play and represents a new take on Playtech’s current Roulette offering.
Titled Spread-Bet Roulette, this new version promises more entertainment for Playtech’s punters by making several side-bets available. The game itself allows players to bet on up to 7 side bets, but one of its most exciting features is the option to award prizes going up to 400 times the triggering bet.
Hi-Lo is already a popular product in the company’s extensive offering, while the refreshed version should make the game even more popular. According to Playtech, the new version now boasts a stunning new design and faster gameplay, which should result in better playing experience. Playtech decided to use a modern approach when overhauling the game, which now features a distinctive Miami-style theme and a matching soundtrack.
Commenting on this important move for the company, Kevin Kilminster, Head of Innovation for Live Casino at Playtech, said the demand for experience-focused gameplay amongst the modern generation of Live Casino players was stronger than ever.
He explained that Live Casino was part of the entertainment industry as well as the gambling industry, and pointed out the presentation and atmosphere they delivered was what made players chose Live over standard RNG games. Kilminster further said that with the addition of American Roulette, Hi-Lo Club and Spead-Bet Roulette to their range, Playtech could offer players a much more immersive and exciting overall entertainment experience.
Hard Work Continues
All three new releases have gone live and can be played on both desktop and mobile. They can be found on the company’s Live Casino network, and all three of them have been integrated with the Playtech Engagement Centre.
It has been very busy at Playtech recently, with the company starting the month with a double win for Playtech Bingo at EGR and WhichBingo Awards. Only a couple of days later, the developer’s Jackpot Giant progressive jackpot slot awarded a massive prize, with a lucky Ladbrokes punter taking home a staggering €1,693,062.87 payout (around $1.9 million) – 376,236 times his stake!
Playtech also expanded its offering of video slots by adding the new space-themed release titled Space Digger to its lineup. The brand’s latest innovative slot boasts cutting edge mechanics and promises plenty of chances to score big wins.
Founded in 1999, Playtech is today one of the leading names in the online gaming industry, offering a wide selection of products to its customers.
