NYX Gaming Acquires Licences in Three Canadian Provinces
One of the leading casino games suppliers to the world’s top performing operators – NYX Gaming Group – has been given another validation of their great work as the company received official licence approval for three provinces in Canada.
NYX Gaming will now be free to provide products and services throughout British Columbia, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
Registered as a Gaming Service Provider by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, NYX Gaming has also been classified as an approved Gaming Supplier by the Loto-Quebec, whereas the Nova Scotia Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobaco Division have listed NYX Gaming as a Lottery Equipment Supplier.
Three different classifications will allow the NYX Gaming Group to exert its unique and unified long-term strategy of operating in regulated gaming markets across the globe.
NYX Gaming will now be able to work closely with the provinces’ regulators in order to provide world-class content and technology for the customers across the three Canadian jurisdictions.
Obtaining the licence approval in these three provinces is an important cornerstone for the company that looks to capitalise on the growth pace of the Canadian market in terms of gaming content and sportsbook services.
January 2017 has been a busy month for NYX Gaming as the company has also gone through a management team overhaul which coincided with the latest developments regarding the Canadian licence approval.
Namely, NYX Gaming appointed Todd McTavish as the new Chief Legal Officer who officially took over his duties as of 16 January from the Las Vegas Headquarters. McTavish will be in charge of the company’s legal and compliance functions, looking to make best use of his extensive experience in corporate law.
Tod Mc Tavish is a well-established member of the NYX team who had previously acted as the general counsel and company secretary of Multimedia Games and Video Gaming Technologies.
