NetEnt Adds More Content to Its New Aggregation Platform

Good news for all NetEnt fans out there, as the Swedish online gaming company has completed the beta launch of its brand-new content aggregation platform called NetEnt Connect.

Now, the technology giant will turn its attention to expanding the list of operators offered by the platform, and also adding extra content to it.

The Soft Launch Was Successful

NetEnt Connect was introduced early last month when the renowned developer explained it would spend the next couple of weeks monitoring the performance of its new platform. According to NetEnt, the full launch would take place afterwards.

The launch of this platform was made possible through NetEnt’s new partnership agreement with Casino Room, a gaming operator ran by Ellmount Group. It seems the platform had proven its abilities during the trial period, as NetEnt revealed many operators had been integrated with NetEnt Connect.

On Monday, NetEnt proudly announced the list of operators offered by its aggregation platform included Bethard as well as the Greek-based brand Stoiximan and the German operator Betano. Initially, NetEnt Connect offered titles by Red Tiger Gaming, the online gambling provider bought by NetEnt back in September in a deal worth around C$373 million. Now, the new platform offers the entire portfolio of this developer, which comprises of 99 titles. Of course, NetEnt Connect also offers its own content as well.

NetEnt Adds More Content to Its New Aggregation Platform

The main reason behind the purchase of Red Tiger Gaming was the company’s desire to improve its performance, which was not as good as the developer had hoped they would be, mostly due to regulatory issues in some of the markets and increasing competition.

In addition to the launch of NetEnt Connect, the Swedish company has also announced that the Daily Timed Jackpots will soon be accessible to its partner operators.

Expect Even More in the Coming Period

Speaking about the plans involving the new aggregation platform, Rob Fell, NetEnt Connect Director pointed out the initial launch had been a huge success and explained the company was looking to make the most out the new product by expanding the current portfolio of games by partnering with new suppliers and adding their content to the offer. 

According to available information, NetEnt plans to launch its new platform one market at a time. Partner operators can look forward to seeing new content available on the platform, while some of those already integrated and waiting for the right time to hit the market.

Commenting on the introduction of the NetEnt Connect aggregation platform last month, Henrik Fagerlund, Director and Chief Product Officer at NetEnt, said this product was the testament to the dedication and collaboration of everyone at NetEnt and Red Tiger Gaming.

Fagerlund also pointed out the acquisition of the renowned online content supplier represents a big chance for NetEnt Connect and added the newly-launched platform was a crucial part of the company’s growth strategy.

NetEnt kicked off the new year with the launch of its Gold Money Frog slot, while only a couple of days later announced the arrival of the new mobile interface for Live Roulette game.
