Microgaming’s network of game developers includes names such as Fortune Factory Studios, Just For The Win, and Slingshot Studios, which have so far created a number of exciting and popular titles for one of the leading online slot producer.
Earlier this month, Golden Rock Studios joined this list, and the new launch – titled Volatile Slot – soon followed. We’re proud to announce the latest signing, a new name in the business, although led by seasoned industry veterans, whose experience and passion will help the new studio to quickly establish its positions in the demanding market which is always on the lookout for creative and innovative content.
Welcoming a New Studio to Its Network
Alchemy Gaming has just inked a new partnership agreement with Microgaming. The deal was announced on Tuesday, and under its provisions, the new game development studio will develop content exclusively available to Microgaming, its partners and their customers.
Commenting on the move, Microgaming’s new partners said mathematics would be at the core of their business, and pointed out their ultimate goal was to set a new standard when it came to gaming experiences on offer.
They also stated they would be focused on creating innovative new titles, with distinctive visuals, game mechanics and features, to bring more diversity to Microgaming’s extensive portfolio of high-quality video slots.
Looking Forward to a New Launch
In addition to announcing the new partnership, Microgaming also revealed the studio’s debut title would be called Wheel of Wishes, and added it was scheduled to hit the market in the first quarter of the next year.
According to available information, the upcoming release will draw its inspiration from the popular Arabian Nights tales. But there’s even more, as the new game will feature a WowPot progressive jackpot. This way, Alchemy Gaming’s first exclusive launch with Microgaming will join its famous Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network. Introduced back in 1999, this network has so far award more than €1 billion (over C$1.5 billion) in prizes.
Microgaming’s Chief Executive Officer John Coleman expressed his satisfaction with the latest move, whilst pointing out the new game studios would add a quirky edge to the company’s ever-growing line-up of slots.
He explained the team at Alchemy Gaming utilized a scientific approach in the process of game development, which in turn would lead to action-packed features and stunning visuals.
In addition to signing new deals, Microgaming has been busy launching new games as well. The list of recent launches includes Volatile Slot, Tiki Mania and Rising Royals, while probably the most important of the new arrivals is the latest chapter in the company’s popular Jungle Jim series, titled Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx, which hit the market earlier this month.
It’s not easy being one of the leaders of the industry.
