Microgaming and Foxium Launching the New Boom Pirates Slot
Developed exclusively for Microgaming by Foxium, a game studio behind such popular titles such as Astro Legends: Lyra and Erion and The Great Albini, the new title promises plenty of excitement and numerous ways to grab huge prizes.
An Exciting Pirate Adventure
Titled Boom Pirates, this fresh release will take punters on a thrilling quest with a group of daredevil pirates. But believe us when we tell you this is not yet another seafaring adventure, but a combined effort of two brands that create only the best games for its players.
Boom Pirates brings a recognizable Microgaming magic to the reels, and for the next couple of week, this game will be exclusively available at certain Playtech powered casinos. Following this period of exclusivity, it will reach all online casinos powered by the Isle of Man-based gaming giant.
Microgaming’s latest release features a standard five-reel three-row layout and has a total of 20 paylines. However, it’s the special features that boost the overall excitement, while at the same time allowing players to claim significant cash awards.
The new game drew attention a couple of months ago when Foxium released a teaser video for the upcoming slot. The teaser revealed stunning graphics, top-notch animations, and an excellent soundtrack. It also revealed the story would be centred on a pirate ship filled with sailors ready to sail around the world on a perilous journey to find hidden riches.
One of the characters we had the chance to meet in the teaser video was an eye-patched marauder in the crow’s nest and a red-headed lady with feisty character. Of course, what kind of pirate ship would that be without a parrot and bottles of rum. We’re pretty sure we’ll encounter all of them on the reels.
Creating Games Together Since 2017
Foxium and Microgaming signed a partnership agreement back in October 2017. The deal has seen Foxium launch its content exclusively to Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, making its titles available to more than 250 operators.
The first game developed by Foxium that was launched on Quickfire platform was Vampire: The Masquerade, a stunning five-reel three-row slot with 30 paylines, offering exceptional graphics and an exciting storyline.
Developer with offices in Estonia and Sweden has so proven it knows how to tell a good story. The studio’s games boast a well-developed and elaborate storyline, keeping players entertained as soon as the reels start spinning. Foxium approach includes creating content that will prove irresistible to punters, and it’s this that is making the company a true force in the online gaming industry.
Boom Pirates will also available on mobile, which means that all those players who enjoy their slots on the go will be able to play the game whenever and wherever they want. The launch of the new games comes shortly after Tiki Vikings and Queen Of The Crystal Rays hit the market.
