Lucky Winner from Quebec Scoops $55M Lotto Max Jackpot
It’s been a successful mixed weekend for Canadian lotto players.
The Saturday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw brought no luck for the players, however, as it turned out there was no winning ticket sold for the $9 million jackpot. Good news, however, is that the jackpot for the next 6/49 draw which is due to be drawn on 26 April will amass to approximately $12 million.
On the other side, the guaranteed $1 million-dollar prize was claimed by a ticket holder from Ontario, while a person from Quebec turned out to be quite fortunate this week as well with a mega-million Lotto Max win.
The Friday night’s Lotto Max draw yielded a winner – and a big one – as a single ticket sold somewhere in Quebec accounted for the grand prize worth whopping $55 million.
Additionally, out of the total of four Maxmillions prizes worth $1 million each only one was claimed and by a ticket which was purchased in Prairies.
The winning numbers for the Friday’s Lotto Max draw were: 3, 4, 13, 16, 35, 47 & 49.
The jackpot for the next Lotto Max draw scheduled for 28 April will be worth approximately $13 million.
