Loto-Quebec Launch Retail Version of Highly Popular Cash Buster
Rarely does it happen that a digital game gets transformed into a physical version, but that is exactly what Loto-Quebec did with one of their most popular titles Cash Buster.
Cash Buster has also allowed the Canadian Lottery to become the first-ever company to launch a physical version of an online game. This peculiar milestone has also included the game’s developers, IWG, specializes in online instant win games, who can now brag to be the first ones to place their product in the retail market.
Buoyed by this initiative from Loto-Quebec, IWG also plans to roll out physical versions of several other titles which are likely to include the likes of Mayan Bonus, Cash Buster Towers, and Super Gem Blaster.
IWG CEO Rhydian Fisher has been delighted with what’s been a truly ground-breaking moment for the instant win market. Online and retail launches have been used before in dual form, but this is the first time an actual digital game has been turned into a physical ticket.
“It just goes to show how successful Cash Buster has been online for Loto-Québec that they have decided to create a physical game for their retail customers. This is a massive step for IWG and an industry first for Loto-Quebec. We are planning to roll out further physical editions of our games to more of our partners in the coming months.”, Fisher said.
IWG have been providing lotteries with a full online instant win service for well over 15 years now and their portfolio includes more than 250 high-quality games. IWG now carets several commercial brands as well, such as GVC, Rank Group and 888.
Loto-Quebec has had nothing but positive words for their suppliers.
“We have a great working relationship with IWG and they have been extremely helpful in delivering this unique product for our customers. I’m sure it will be as big a hit for the retail sector as it has been online.”, Online Product Team Manager at Loto-Quebec, Clement Aubin, said.
