Publish: 01.11.2017

Sweden-based mobile gaming company and provider of online casino and sports betting LeoVegas has announced the launch of the firm’s new strategic division.

The LeoVentures investment unit aims to improve the company’s overall results and accelerate corporate growth and will be led by Robin Ramm-Ericson, LeoVegas’ co-founder and the current chief experience officer (CXO).

Seeking New Opportunities

As the Managing Director for LeoVentures Ramm Ericson will be in charge of seeking growth opportunities within regulated jurisdictions, both internally and externally.

LeoVegas has a number of ongoing projects, including development of live casino provider Authentic Gaming, card games developer 21 Heads-up, and LiveCasino.com player community.

The Group’s Chief Executive Officer Gustaf Hagman said the LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group would strive to be the most innovative and fastest growing company in the industry. He added that increasing focus on the venture business IMP (Independent Mobile Productions) would strengthen the current momentum.

Another Successful Move

Hagman also stated Robin Ramm-Ericson, who took the role of LeoVentures Managing Director, would leave the position of LeoVegas’ CXO. According to Hagman, Ramm-Ericson will remain as the Group’s senior executive.

The latest move was announced during the Group’s quarter update. One of the biggest news during the three-month period starting from July 1 and ending on September 30 was the acquisition of the Maltese operator RoyalPanda. The deal worth €60 million enabled LeoVegas to enter the competitive market of the United Kingdom.

In addition to launching the new investment unit, LeoVegas has announced the Group will be looking for a new Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Hagman and Ramm-Ericson founded LeoVegas in 2011 with the vision to create the ultimate mobile casino. Apart from the online casino, the Group offers services such as table games, video slots, progressive jackpots, video poker and live betting.
