ICE Totally Gaming Reveals Record-Breaking Attendance At This Year’s Event
This year’s edition of ICE Totally Gaming was the biggest one so far, with a total of 33,536 visitors attending the event in London.
The number of visitors went up by 11% when compared to 2017, marking the seventh year in a row the industry’s leading event has recorded growth.
Rise In Visitors
According to available information, the event’s density has also increased, with 17% more visitors per stand on average, and 12% more visitors per square meter. A total of 153 countries were present at this year’s edition of ICE, while the number of visitors from key growth regions also spiked.
Commenting on the data, Kate Chambers, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming said these numbers represented a massive achievement for everyone involved in ICE. She pointed out that visitors from 153 sovereign states and jurisdictions had traveled to London, along with the community of international exhibitors who supported the ICE brand with such passion and creativity.
Chambers stressed she was extremely proud of the event’s satisfaction rating this year had been at +51.8, which placed ICE among an elite group of business events organized in the United Kingdom.
Organizers Can Be More Than Satisfied
Apart from the host nation, the country that had the largest presence at ICE this year was Malta with 1,910 attendees. Germany followed with 1,445 attendees, ahead of the US (1,253), Austria (1,170) and Spain (1,097). Sweden (914), Italy (910), Netherlands (658), Bulgaria (629) and Israel (572) were also in the top 10.
All nations in the top 10 recorded an annual rise in attendance, with Austria and Bulgaria showing the biggest increases of 228% and 106% respectively.
A total of 589 exhibitors for 65 nations took part at this year’s ICE Totally Gaming, occupying 43,500 square meters of net space and 36 of the 44 halls at ExCeL London.
Next year’s event, which is scheduled to take place from 5-7 February 2019, is expected to be even more exciting.
