Golden Nugget Casino Enjoys iGaming Boost
New Jersey’s Golden Nugget casino is enjoying a successful spell of late and will have its live casino department to thank for the huge boost in revenues.
New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement published the revenue reports for December and Golden Nugget was delighted to see that it has overtaken Borgata at the top spot on the list of New Jersey casinos.
The Golden Nugget online casino division amassed nearly $4.8 million in revenue for the last month of 2016, which has put the casino well above all other online operators in the state.
The numbers stand for a huge 26% growth recorded in November and whopping 67% performance rate back in December 2015. A year of success has come down to the live casino as a unique and new offer at the New Jersey iGaming scene.
European players will have been rather familiar with the Live Casino, which was quick to become an integral offering of any online casino across the continent.
Having recognized the potential, Golden Nugget has bravely stepped into the unknown to head the way as a pioneer in the unknown business section which is repaying the part of Atlantic City Group for its bravery and vision.
It was not solely Golden Nugget that saw a gain rise in 2016 through the iGaming operations. Other casinos in the state – Borgata, Caesars Interactive, resorts Digital and Tropicana – all benefitted from the innovative model.
Golden Nugget casino officials have been surprised themselves to see the brand-new operation model exceed expectations.
Due to the increased interest for Live Dealer and online casino, the company has even decided to expand working hours to 10 per day, whereas 12-hour shifts are being contemplated for the future, should the increase trend in the iGaming sector continue to go upwards.
