Evolution Gaming Announces Impressive Q2 Results
The latest results further confirm the company is leading the live casino segment. Evolution Gaming generated €85.7 million ($95.5 million) in the second quarter of 2019, which represents a year-on-year increase of 45%.
A Record-Breaking Performance for the Renowned Supplier
EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization) improved to €42.7 million with a margin of 49.8 percent – the highest one recorded so far during a single three-month period.
In its report, Evolution cited its commitment towards expansion and player retention as the main driving force behind the latest figures, but also put emphasis on focus and attention to its Live vertical during the most recent period.
Evolution also stated it had successfully retained it’s customers thanks to its wide offering of games, but pointed out it had also managed to draw a significant number of new players. The company has become a household name, leading the market of live casino games. It appears they have started to reap the benefits of their hard work and commitment in creating quality content for the industry.
Commenting on Q2 results, Martin Carlesund, Chief Executive Officer said 2019 was a year of product and innovation, and during the period, the company had launched several new games.
He added their aim in the development had been to create games that attracted new player types and to expand Live vertical into new segments. Carlesund further said they believed that the Live vertical would continue to grow its share of the total online casino market.

The renowned supplier has increased its presence in the United States by doubling its capacity in New Jersey, while the construction of a new studio in Pennsylvania will further cement its positions in the U.S.
Evolution Gaming continues to lead the Live Casino segment, and the award as Live Casino Supplier of the Year for the tenth year in a row at the EGR B2B Awards in June proves the company’s efforts have paid out.
