Escape From Michael Myers and Grab Cash in the Latest Halloween Video Slot
One of the latest releases by the Isle of Man developer is a video slot based on 1978 American movie directed by John Carpenter and starring Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis.
The movie portrays Michael Myers and his killing spree in a small Illinois town, and was a huge commercial success, grossing more than $265 million.
Playing the Game
Halloween is a five-reel three-row video slot with 50 paylines, with the transparent grid set against Michael’s own house.
Just like the movie, Michael will always be near, lurking in the window, or looking at you from behind. The atmosphere is chilling, and the eerie soundtrack will definitely put the shivers down your spine.
The game also features memorable sound bites from the film, but most importantly, brings plenty of features offering a plethora of chances to grab rewarding wins.
When it comes to the game’s features, there is a lot on offer, starting from the Wandering Reels, where a group of three reels spins together. This feature contains Jumbo Block, large high-paying symbols spanning three reels.
The Trick or Treat Wheel Bonus is activated when three bonus symbols find their place on the reels, offering an opportunity to substantially increase your winnings.
The Boogeyman Bonus round takes place inside Michael Myers’ house, and its goal is to escape, since encountering Michael will end the game. Leaves hide different cash prizes, along with multipliers that increase each time a prize is revealed.
If you land on any of the movie’s characters during the Trick or Treat Wheel Bonus other than Michael, you’ll trigger the Free Spins feature and receive 9 spins. The character that activated the game will replace all other high-value symbols, including Jumbo Blocks. While this feature is active, the Wandering Reels will move to fixed position.
Halloween video slot went live on October 4 and is now available on any of Microgaming casinos.
